Anti-corruption policy



Measures for the prevention as well as repression of corruption are incorporated. Under prevention is meant The eliminating of the risks that affect corruption is understood under prevention. In the area of repression, clear results in the proceedings and penalties are required.
 
The area Institutions and Politics refers to the national strategy for fight against corruption and its implementation. The structure and functioning of the institutions and bodies which have competencies in the fight against corruption are significant.
In the area of international and domestic legal framework the compliance with the EU legislation, the conventions of the Council of Europe, United Nations and OECD is monitored. The national criminal substantive and procedural provisions should comply with the international standards and should be implemented in practice. Current issues are the conflict of interest, the financing of political parties, the public procurement, the access to public information, etc.
